As a Cabinet Maker, your primary responsibility will be the construction of various types of base frame total custom cabinets, where a keen focus on high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail is essential. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of materials, tools, and machinery in order to bring our clients' specific cabinet requirements to life. Responsibilities: * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand clients' requirements and project scope. * Select and source appropriate materials, including wood, hardware, and finishing supplies, based on project specifications. * Operate a variety of woodworking machinery, such as saws, drills, routers, and sanders, to cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components. * Build and assemble cabinets using hand tools, ensuring precise measurements, tight joints, and proper alignment. * Inspect cabinets for quality, functionality, and adherence to specifications, making any necessary adjustments or repairs. * Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate understanding of project requirements and timelines. * Maintain a clean and organized workshop, including proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment. * Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects. * Applicants must have a minimum of five years of experience in the field. * Solid knowledge of wood species, woodworking techniques, materials, and cabinetry construction methods. * Proficient in using various hand and power tools commonly used in cabinet making. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately. * Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements, cuts, and assembly. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions when faced with challenges. * Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions. * Effective time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines. * Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with clients, designers, and other team members effectively. * Knowledge of safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe working environment. Education and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Completion of a vocational or technical program in woodworking or cabinet making is preferred. * Relevant certifications or apprenticeship training in cabinet making is a plus. * Previous experience in a cabinet making or woodworking role is required.
